Non Monsieur! Lloris Should Forget About White Hart Lane.

Here we go again.

The Ligue 1 2012/13 saison has already started and talks are still going around for a move for Lyon’s #1, Lloris. Sounding off today is  Bernard Lacombe, advisor to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas. He says that Lloris is ”reluctant to leave the club” via French radio station RMC. Reluctant? Hmm, I wonder if one of the Top 5 clubs ask to use his service if he will be reluctant to go. I think Lyon is the one reluctant to let their prized goalie go.

In the words of Lacombe via RMC:

“Regarding Hugo Lloris, he should stay at OL and not join Tottenham.

“Until the transfer window closes, you never know. If Modric goes to Madrid, things may move forward.

“But as he has started the Championship, Hugo is less hot to leave. He wants to continue at Lyon…Unless there is a very important proposal for him and for us. Their proposal was well below our valuation for our goalkeeper.

Oh yeah, Lyon will hold onto Lloris this season for all that it’s worth. I think Lloris should forget about moving for the moment, seeing that he is already training and preparing for the new 2012/13 season with Lyon. I am in total agreement with Lacombe when it comes to keeping the goalie at Lyon. Who knows what better offer may come to Lloris’ table next season?
