Lloris v Everton

Match: Everton v Spurs (EPL)

Final: 2-1

Hugo Lloris had a fairly good game especially in the first half in today’s match against Everton, who dominated the match, but scored in closing minutes of the game. Lloris had two notable saves and although not called into action much, he was ready when he had to be but he was one of the best players on the pitch.

3/5 for today’s performance.

Couldn’t do anything about the two unsavable goals.

Mr. Sunshine played 90 minutes, had 12 goal kicks and 4 saves.

Notable moments via goal.com:

09′ Really good goal-keeping from Loris. He times his dive to perfection to push the ball away from Jelavic’s feet, as the Croatian runs one-on-one at goal and tries to round the Frenchman. Everton fans wanted a penalty but there’s nothing wrong with that challenge. It remains 0-0.

22′ Baines looks for Jelavic with a through ball from inside his own half, but he overhits it and it goes straight to Loris in the Tottenham goal.

62′ Fellaini climbs well to get his head onto Gibson’s free-kick from deep, but he can’t get enough power on it and it Loris gathers it with ease.

74′ Loris dives low to his right-hand side to push away Osman’s low first time effort from the edge of the box.
