Lloris picks up another clean sheet as Spurs win in Russia

Won’t ever get tire of those clean sheets

Hugo Lloris and the Spurs played against Anzhi and won 2-0 yesterday, thanks to goals from Defoe and Chadli. They’re currently on top of Group K with 6 points from two wins. Lloris didn’t had much to do in the first half, but he was called upon regularly in the second half as Anji tried to find a goal or two.

Lloris had his moments. Here’s some via Spurs official Twitter a/c:

26 – Ball over the top comfortably dealt with by Kaboul, nodded home to Lloris.

27 – Lloris out to claim the ball at Abdulavov’s feet.

56 – Eschenko released down the left, cross from byline diverted away by Lloris and cleared.

58 – Save: Solomatin let rip from the right corner of the box, fierce effort tipped over by Lloris.

58 – Corner: Lloris through the bodies to punch the ball clear.

84 – Save: Lloris sharply down to his right to turn away Solomatin’s fierce low drive.

By the way, that’s Lloris’ 9th clean sheet in all competitions this season.

Lloris v Anzhi:

My heart simply beats football.
