D Day for France


My Heart Beats Football

France face Ukraine in the second leg of play-offs later on today and although they’re on the brink of missing the World Cup, they have nothing but themselves to blame. As a long time supporter of Les Bleus, I am inclined to feel sad but it’s going to be all right no matter the outcome today.

It’s do or die time for France.

Hugo Lloris and Deschamps did the presser last evening. Speaking at the presser, the French captain encouraged his mates to go ‘mad’.

“Without madness there will be no success,”

“But we’re going to have to show that we’re able to play cleverly, not just go all out.

“We want revenge after the slap on the face we got in Ukraine. We’ll have to leave the pitch with our heads held high knowing we gave everything. If that’s the case it will mean that we’re qualified.”
